OVERVIEW
Design Thinking is a human-centered approach to problem solving and strategic innovation. It has surged to prominence because it allows teams to research and design solutions by focusing on the needs, expectations, and emotional insights of customers.
Rather than attempting to build a perfect solution based on a list of requirements, Design Thinking offers an iterative cycle of learning, ideation and validation, whose goal is to begin with discovery of customer needs and then creating solutions to meet them. It works best in the white space of product innovation where a clear solution is not readily apparent, and the customer problem may not yet be fully defined.
This 3-day highly interactive and collaborative workshop is ideal for those that are ready to level up to Dual Track Agile, a process that blends continuous discovery with delivery. If you are wondering how to generate a product backlog or are looking for strategies to leapfrog over competitors, or are simply curious to learn about an innovation methodology, this class is for you.
Participants will walk away with a solid understanding of the Design Thinking framework, first-hand experience using the tools and techniques, and a workbook to help them implement what they’ve learned, including a customized one-sheet brief on getting started in their own environment.
